Who would have guessed. Ikea sells furniture. H&M sells clothes. But now the Swedish companies will now be fighting on the home fashions turf.
H&M is known for their affordable fashions and has now become a strong global retailer. Announced last week and recently confirmed at the Decor8 blog, H&M will be going at it with Ikea in the home fashions arena.

I know all you ladies out there have been infatuated with the fashions and prices on clothing from H&M. If H&M can copy their success to the home products, then Ikea better watch out!
