I’m sure a lot of people don’t remember, but last week on May 12 was the anniversary of the Sichuan, China earthquakes. That was really big news about many people losing their homes and are still living in temporary shacks and need food for housing.
Beggar donates his earnings…
But there’s a story about a Chinese beggar that is not as well known who donated his earnings during a charity event in Guangzhou when the earthquake hit.
A Generous Heart!
Now this is true and genuine charity
People thought he was a passerby, but when he said he wanted to donate volunteers brought him the donation box. He scuffled around and donated $30 to $40 dollars. It was also said he came back and donated another $10 a few days later. This was a disabled beggar with a really big heart and this true story inspired me.
This beggar had the heart to donate his earnings to the victims of the Sichuan earthquake who he believed needed it much more than he did.
