rustic interiors

Do you like the outdoors? Nature? The woods? The forest? Woodlands? Well, those are the things I thought about when I was perusing the internet for on rustic style interiors. And maybe Rustic is something for you? Rustic elements include the use of stone, wrought iron, natural fabrics (cotton, linen, wool, leather/suede), metal and woods. Pretty much the rustic interior brings in color and ambiances from nature. Not really something I’d go for because it’s too wood heavy. Although, I do like the one’s where natural elements are used with lighter color tones.

See all the dark finished wood so prominent in the style? Again, not really my tastes, but maybe yours? What do you think?

Is it the photography or still a little dark? But I do like the use of stone tiles along the walls of the kitchen.

A mix and match collection of private resident projects

Well, I originally had these pictures in another order, but I found some of Sassano’s work that I was more fond of toward the end. So I decided to post them first before I lose some of you in a rustic dark alley

These aren’t exactly representative of the pure Rustic interiors but has the undertones of wood and natures color palettes. These are the few that I like from the rustic examples.

Now to the rest…

I really like the use of stone and rock that is prominent in rustic interior designs…

Well that’s it. I always thought that Rustic style had a lot to do with Tuscan. Maybe some similarities, but I’ll post on that next to be sure… until next time! Have a good day!
