You can get anything done. And you can thank Jerry Seinfeld for the advice. His simple advice is almost comic in itself.

The Red X's Are My Friend, ohmmmmm....
Eric Needs to Write More Better
Even what you’re reading right now is my attempt to put that advice into action. My goal is to become a better writer so I don’t bore you. And I am sure the method will also help you get things done too.
Everyday!
So it’s the typical slow Friday afternoon at work and I’m reading on how to brush up my writing skills at Copyblogger. And one simple piece of advice was that I should write everyday for the next 30 days. And not stop at it, not even for a holiday. And I’ll for sure get better at writing in 30 days.
What?! Everyday?
“Everyday?!” I thought to myself, “How do I do that? What about Christmas? I’m also going to be in Maui next week planning for my wedding next year. Write everyday? Some vacation that’s gonna be!” Ok, so after a string of thoughts, I just calmed down and continued reading.
In comes Jerry Seinfeld’s productivity secret that I found more about by google’g it online, link.
Focus… Focus on the Red X’s
All you need is a big fat red marker and a full year calendar print out. You then take the calendar and post it up on a place you see everyday (take it with you if you’re going on a trip like I will next week). Then once you decide what you want to accomplish and go at it everyday, start marking each day with a big red “X” each time you do what you decided to do. After a few weeks you’ll start seeing a chain of pretty red X’s, and soon after that your chain will be so long that your entire goal now is to focus on not breaking that chain of X’s.
Mission Accomplished
Voila! You’ve accomplished what you wanted to get done. Well, this post was my first day. Let’s see where I’ll be next week when I am sitting on those sandy beaches looking off into the endless horizon. But good luck to all of you in getting things done in time for New Years’ Resolutions.
