A couple of weeks ago I was exploring interior lighting ideas and I came across Ashley Whittaker design 
where she had this really great entryway lighting interior idea. Traditional furniture is usually too heavy for me but I was browsing Ashely Whittaker’s portfolio and, wow, she has a great twist on putting a modern touch on traditional interiors.
Here’s a sample of her neo-traditionalist work, it’s nice.
Updated colors with the traditional themed patterns.

More traditional fabric patterns mix and matched with vivid contemporary colors.
This one below with the criss cross wood trimming along the walls and ceiling edges reminds me of a hotel I stayed in while vacationing in Hawaii. A traditional tropical feel.
