Our new front page marks the beginning of a new attitude everyone at Visiondecor is striving to pursue.

As “The internet’s source of furnishings” we tried to become our customer’s one stop shop for all their furniture needs.  Whether they would be furniture blogs, news articles, furniture features, or promotions Visiondecor wanted all their customers and readers to bookmark Visiondecor so that they may pay us a visit if furniture information is needed.

This was an ambitious but extremely short-sighted because most of our customers and people who visit Visiondecor come for our selection and value we bring to the internet.  From eBay to Amazon, we are known for our competitive pricing and our customer service.  We can still be the ’source for furnishings’ but our best attributes as an online furniture store is still a tried and true furniture store.

We have changed our slogan to “The Online Furniture Store” because that is who we are and what we do best.   We plan on making all of our competitive advantages more visible and accessible to our visitors and customers.

I hope everyone enjoyed our Free Shipping promotion that ended on 1/1/2008.  Just thought it would be a nice gesture to give back to all of our supporters in the past.

In 2007, blogging is a new phenomenon that has swept the internet. More and more businesses are flocking to blog sites to boost sales and traffic to their business or to their products. Visiondecor blog site was created due to this phenomenon but it was meant to discuss and *discover* more insightful ways we see and use furniture and the products we sell. We do not want to be a normal website selling furniture, we want to share a glimpse at how we love and feel about the services we provide and products we sell.

We want our furniture blog site to include both fun and educational articles about our products and about furniture in general. The writers at Visiondecor take pride in the products we sell and with everyday we get to serve our customers we strive to learn more and understand more about our business and the world of furniture.

This blog site will focus on a few simple concepts:

1. Each post will be focused on furniture terms our customer’s have searched on our website.
2. As we post more blogs, a ’self-help’ section will be available to our major categories. Giving practical information about furniture care, design and style ideas, and buying tips.
3. Writers will post articles based on seasons and Visiondecor products related to a particular seasons.
4. For fun! Our writers were told to write about things they cared about. Our writers have not seen every piece of furniture and they are encouraged to learn about the construction and styles of furniture sold on our website.

We really hope to provide something beneficial to our community and our customers. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to a post, an item, or about any of our writers, please email us.
