Hey everyone.  Let me talk about myself a little bit.  So my real name is Tim.  My “Tec” identity is basically something that stuck as a nickname throughout my childhood, because I have always been interested in anything that has to do with science, technology, or the Earth.  That and the fact that I frequently use it as my name when I play video games .  I’m also a go-to computer whiz at Visiondecor.. like I’m really important.  Just kidding.  Well, I’m pretty important.

(This is where I get weird)  More recently, I’ve started to notice myself becoming “one” with the Earth.  I had this strange epiphany that we are all part of the Earth, sorta like how hair is part of your head.  In that light, it is actually the responsibility of each of us (especially if we have children and we don’t want them to live in a future trash pit) to maintain the Earth as if it were our own home.  Since we’re all stuck here for now, we might as well keep the place clean and nice.

That’s basically why I’m fiercely passionate about the environment, and why I write about it.  As for myself, I’m a guy in my 20s living in Southern California.  Some people say I sound 50% like a surfer when I talk, but you can’t hear that when I write .  Gnarly…

Some things that I like: Chillin’ and hanging out with friends, sun and beach, sushi and seafood (I carry around a Sustainable Seafood Guide in my wallet), summer blockbuster type movies where they spent a lot of money on special effects, music (rock, hip hop, electronic, classical, jazz, just about everything), basketball, bowling, hiking, camping, road trips, spiders, computers, video games, sci-fi, wiki-drifting, relaxing outdoors.

Some things that I dislike: Disrespectful or inconsiderate people, big SUVs with one person driving and no passengers, shark finning and associated soup, computers (yes, it’s a love-hate relationship), hunting for sport, global warming, backward-thinking, deforestation, and people who do onto others as they would NOT want done onto themselves.
