What’s Up with the Number 7 / Seven?

I’m just thinking out loud here. The number 7. Doesn’t that number intrigue you?

You hear it everywhere:

1. 7 digits in a phone number
2. 7 Wonders of the World
3. 7 Days in a Week
4. 7 Days of creation in Genesis
5. Lucky number Seven
6. 777 Slot Machine Jackpot (ok, this one’s probably from #5)
7. Our cognitive ability is being able to remember 7 digits (maybe that’s why #1 came about)

There’s many more, all you have to do is google “Number 7″

Maybe I’m just ignorant. But I’m just interested with this number because it’s everywhere. It’s in things that are man made and made within man. How interesting is that? Is it just me or any of you think the same thing?
