Remember FedEx Furniture? Now There’s Parcel Furniture

by ericl on April 23, 2009

I remember when FedEx Furniture got very popular back in 2005.  It appears no one manages the site anymore and it is just a remnant of “old internet”.  Anways, I just came across some more interesting box-type furniture.

TAF Designs
It’s call parcel furniture.  Actually designed and made by TAF, Swedish architects and designers.

It’s like living in a warehouse…
I must say, the furniture is pretty life like.  It reminds me when I used to work in the warehouse packing items during the beginnings of my company.  The dolly carts, boxes, wrapped boxes and packaging all look so familiar.

Mmmmm, boxes....

Soft boxes...

The really cool thing is that the furniture is upholstered.  So it may look boxy but it’s actually soft.  Nice!  You can see more at the TAF website.
