Soothing Sights: Sunrise

by ericl on March 24, 2009

Ok, enough of the snow and the cold pictures in the last few weeks.  I’ve posted some sunset pictures before, but how many of us have really waken up early enough to see a sunrise?  The picture doesn’t do it justice although it is still very pretty.  Witnessing a sunrise with the breath of fresh air at the beginning of a new day is just a different experience.

Wake Up Early Enought to See This?

Wake Up Early Enought to See This?

I was inspired by that scene in Benjamin Button where both of them are watching the sunrise at the lake.  Breathtaking.

I challenge you to see for yourself.  Wake up one day (I know it’s hard…).  Go up to the local hills and face the east side.  You’ll see something worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.  Let me know what your experience is, leave a comment below.
