Bush has been gone for a while and no one has talked about him. 75% of us couldn’t wait for him to leave. But 25% said they would miss him. So do “we” miss him? I wondered who would that be and after a while I came to some conclusions of my own.

Laught it up.
Leno, Letterman, Stewart and Colbert. Their shows probably lost a lot of material and topics for their comedy shows. Comedians all over the world probably miss Bush just as they missed Clinton since President Obama seems to have very little to make fun of. He’s just so perfect.
Drill baby Drill.
Big oil and the OPEC already misses our beloved President. Recent oil prices are at an all time low, below the price even when Bush was first elected in 2000. That’s some $42 in today’s money which isn’t worth that much. I’m pretty sure the oil companies will be losing a lot of that money they made in the last 8 years.
Patriots.
For the patriots of America, you should be proud! America is a strong country and has proven itself to last. You should miss Bush! Why? Because even a President (with good intentions of course) that was so helpless and unliked couldn’t bring down the US. We came kicking and screaming back and even gave all of us a chance to witness history. We still have a long way to go, be America is still the world’s #1 country!
History in the Making.
So as America continues to survive the aftermath of the Bush Administration, it made history. We elected our first African American President and showed the world that with heart, ability and hope we can be anything! Obama supporters should miss Bush for the indirect support he has created for those that chose Democrats as their option (as opposed to Rep.) for our country’s next chapter.
So “we” probably do miss Bush and thank him for his “contribution” to America.
