Working in a blue carpeted, white walled, and gray cubicled office can be a bore. Although I am a business owner myself (with an un-decorated office), I wish my office can be as fun as this one.
The office of Wonderfactory, a brand naming consulting company in NYC, is told by its name as an office (or factory) of wonder. The design can be an inspiration to homes and offices across the nation.
-The Conference Room

Retro and antique. I love that never-ending wood loop ceiling lamp.
-Mural Walls

The mural is hand painted.
If someone in my office is that talented then I would love to have that person paint the walls.
-Team Bull Pen

What a work area!
The table lamps are nice, adds character to each person’s workspace.
-Lounge

Think, Think.
Such a relaxed and creative space can let the imaginative juices flow!
-Library and Drawing

Read and Relax.
A little on the serious side, but I like it. The red walls add a heavy accent.
-Kitchen

Coffee Anyone?
This can work in some real homes for those of you that like a modern touch.
-Reception

Welcome Home (Work?)!
I’d actually live in here, and to think it’s their reception area. Nice!
This was a great inspiration for design. I’d consider doing something for my offices and maybe use some at home. But special thanks for Design*Sponge where I first saw this. Hope you enjoyed this office inspiration.

red, orange, and yellow walls are not good ideas. those are danger colours and will make your tummy ache. if you’ve noticed, most of those colours come up in fast food restaurants…so you eat and then you jam.
)
but i love the ceiling of that room with the red walls. it’s cool.
and the mural…maybe have everyone at your office paint something so it’s personal for you guys. or would that just come off as graffiti?
that’s true about the red. I did learn that red is used in restaurants because it makes people want to eat more.
I’ve seen that type of ceiling at TGIF’s.
Making it personal is a good idea, I guess I’d just have to let go and have them express themselves freely. We’ll see…
If my office looked like this, I might actually look forward to going to work! I guess I’ll have to settle for walls decorated photos for now =/
