Congratulations to President Elect Obama for winning a historic race. But now we all know that the country faces very big problems and all we can do is hope the new president is ready to handle and deliver on his promises.
Right at home, Americans simply have fear instilled in their minds. When we go out to the malls, we hold back on our purchases and give a lot more discretion to what we actually purchase. I can see it when my customers purchase furniture, they buy the items that are really needed instead of all the accessories they used to purchase.
While the government is figuring out how to help us in stimulating the economy and bailing companies out, we need to know what to do in the meantime. You may already have done the right first step in voting in the November 4th elections a few days ago.
So while it does take time to transist and plans to work out, we need to continue to focus on what really matters that will allow those of us that are struggling to make it through. Let’s continue to educate ourselves with knowledge and make the right decisions so that we pick leaders that lead us in the right direction to recovery.
