The latest news about our economy and gas prices indicates that we will be heading to record high gas prices (at almost $4.00 a gallon in some areas) People are already looking towards more fuel efficient cars by trading in SUV and trucks and purchasing fuel efficient vehicles and hybrids.

But what other things are people doing to save and offset the added expense of gas prices? Here are some recommendations:
- Carpooling, meeting your co-workers at a neutral distance can save a few dollars.
- Find the cheapest gas station in your area: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/gasprices/states/index.shtml
- Spending Less, some people are eating in more not only to spend less on food, but also because driving 10 or 15 miles to your favorite restaurant is more than necessary.
What are some of your cost saving ideas/tips? For starters keeping the air in your tires at the right pressure can improve the miles per gallon for every car. Also, driving the speed limit not only will save you from a traffic ticket gas mileage usually decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph (each 5 mph you drive over 60 mph is like paying an additional ~$0.20 per gallon for gas.) Drive Safe!
