Looking for a nice night out with some friends or for a date? I had a pretty good time with friends at the Boiling Crab in Alhambra on Thursday night with its nice street and casual style ambience of wood tables and benches that is actually well kept and clean despite the way the food is served to you.

Look to spend about $25 – $45 per person for some really good seafood in Cajun style and lemon butter sauces.
I recommend the Shrimp and corn, oh how that corn soaks up all the flavor from the juice.
If you are waiting, I recommend sitting at the bar to get nice $3 domestic ice cold beer, their cajun fries, and hot wings while you wait. They’ll open up tab for you to carry over to your dinner table.
Well, if it is a date, might I warn you that there are no forks or knives for eating. All they do is put everything you order (crab, crayfish, shrimp, corn, etc.) into a big plastic bag with the sauce your order and a large piece of French Style dining paper to cover your table top. So you’ll be eating with your hands.
You are going to be eating picnic style on the wood tables and wood benches they set up in and around the restaurant. Great place for some family fun, good deals on fresh seafood, and, best of all, very delicious.
