Americana Style:
Americana furniture has been the new crazy late in 2007 and into 2008. The style, which is heavily based from English and neoclassical from around the pre-revolutionary war period. Most pieces have a very simple design that is decorated with brass trimming with an antique look.
This style was influenced by designers personal reflection of early 1950’s media. Television shows give a glimpse of popular styles of the 1950s and sparked a revival of the Americana furniture now in 2008.
