Bi – Sectional Couches are two sections of couches that are put together into one couch. Sectional Couches have been quite popular in the past few years because of the different styles and fabrics of sectional couches that are available today. Most people who purchase sectional couches must determine whether they need a left or right orientated sectional. The major difference is where the chaise lounge’s arm resides. If the arm is on the right side facing the front it is called RAF (technically, if the arm is on the left side it would be LAF, but since that is the default formation you would simply specify that you would like the RAF.)
The most common fabric of sectional sofa is either leather (including leatherette) or fabric. The most distinguishing factor between leather and fabric is feel and color. Obviously, a leather sofa might be better at repelling stains and repel odors as it ages; however, the feel and the variation of fabrics that can be used really allow the buyer much more options.
Additionally, there are also three piece sectional couches that are less sought after because of their size. The three pieces included are the chaise lounge, the mid-couch, and the arm-chair (also available in RAF)
