When you walk into Ikea, you expect to find the perfect item to decorate your home. Then, after you assemble your new furniture, it doesn’t look quite like the advertisement or the display that you saw at Ikea. Let’s review the before and after.

The bottom line is that Ikea items look great at the store because they spend millions of dollars on marketing and research and development on the Ikea style. Unless you plan on purchasing an entire set of Ikea furniture for your home, don’t count on Ikea furniture to match perfectly with your existing furniture.
